Care Package
After hours at the doctor or a tough day at school, a little self care can go a long way. Our winter care packages brought self care to the door of each teammate. We loved hearing how excited each girl was to find the package at the door. “I immediately had to call my MyTEAM friends and gush about how well put together it was. It was like a really big virtual hug,” one teammate told us.

Camp MyTeam
After months of waiting, we traveled from near and far to spend the long summer day with our MyTEAM friends. Filled with workshops, games, crafts, a gameshow that had us at the edge of our seats, closed off with a bonfire that warmed our hearts. It might have only been one day, but the memories last all year.

Purim
Sometimes life can be a little salty, but My Team’s always sweet. The Shalach Manos packages were a real hit! It was so great to hear how much the girls enjoyed everything from the diet friendly nosh to the personalized keychain to the containers they were packaged in. Purim 2023 got even sweeter when we gathered together for a paint night bursting with color and joyous energy.

MyTeam Shabbaton
Our second annual Shabbaton was simply magical. This teammate couldn't have described it better: "I can't thank you enough for the best best Shabbaton ever. From the welcome at the beginning, to all the amazing activities, the Shabbos meals, the chizuk, and the amazing atmosphere throughout... It gave us the most incredible experience. Every shabbaton I go on, I am sick and feel so lonely because no one gets me and I end up feeling so upset about it.
Even though I was (inevitably) sick, it was totally different and I was able to bounce straight back into it. Thank you for giving me the motivation to keep going!"

Pill Art Contest
Our Annual Pill Art Contest is here and we are completely blown away by the creativity, humor, and level of acceptance that each girl has displayed through her pill art. Each one is so compelling, artistic, and thought-provoking, we had an impossible time choosing winners!

Winter Party
Over 70 teammates from across the tri-state area and beyond joined us for our incredible annual winter party. The amazing energy of positivity, resilience, and budding friendships made the night one to remember. Our teammates connected through an adorable game show, dancing, singing, an inspiring panel, and as always, delicious food! We're already looking forward to next year's event!

Lag BaOmer Party
The theme of our mentors' Lag BaOmer party was "Light it up" and that's exactly what we did! We started out with a delicious BBQ and went on to play an exciting team building game. We then had a cozy bonfire and heard the incredible story of one of our very own teammates. We wrapped up the night with a kumzitz and of course roasted some marshmallows!

Purim Party and Mishloach Manos
In anticipation of Purim, we sent out over 300 adorable Mishloach Manos packages to teammates across the country and hosted an amazing Pre-Purim Paint Night for our mentors! The theme for our Mishloach Manos was "recharge" and featured a personalized cup, a handy portable charger, and an array of delicious medical diet-friendly snacks to help us stay recharged while we're on the go!

Care Packages
Teammates across the US and UK cozied up with new plush MyTEAM blankets, toasty hand warmers, colorful scrunchies, and yummy (diet friendly) treats! Our nearly 200 care packages arrived in beautiful packaging and with a stunning poem (and song!!) from one of our very own teammates.

Winter Party
Not all heroes wear capes. More than 70 of our very own heroes from across the US - and even Canada - for our annual winter party. We were blown away by the amazing energy of positivity, resilience, and sisterhood that made the night the unforgettable experience that it was. Our teammates connected through games, dancing, singing, and stories. We can’t wait for next year!!

Webinar
Sarah Korenblit, an incredible social worker with a vast experience in chronic illness, sat down with our teammates to discuss the unique challenges that come up when one is in remission. Together, we explored five common struggles faced while in remission and gained insights and tools for tackling them. The takeaway - transitions (even good ones!) take time and that’s ok!

Camp MyTEAM
Our MyTEAM rockstars came together for a jam-packed full day event of hyper dancing, creative activities, and wacky games. We pride ourselves on making each event better than the next and this year was no exception! We had an amazing time learning the new Camp MyTEAM song and had a blast playing a hilarious game show. We’re counting the days till CMT ‘22!

Annual Campaign
Our second annual online crowdfunding campaign was a smashing success!! Together with our incredible team of MyTEAM Ambassadors we raised our goal of $100,000. It was amazing to see just how many people came out in support of our teammates and joined our effort in Overcoming The Pain Together.

Purim
In anticipation of Purim, we sent out more than 200 custom Mishloach Manos to our teammates and hosted an amazing Pre-Purim Paint Night for our mentors! Our Mishloach Manos featured an adorable “pillbox” water bottle, “chill pill” stress ball, key chain, and an array of delicious grab-and-go medical diet friendly snacks!

Chanuka Chagiga
With Corona in mind, we hosted EIGHT simultaneous parties in various locations. We had a blast competing with each other in an inter-location color war! Every team was assigned a different member of a medical team to represent in a song, banner, badge, and cheer. It was amazing to see the incredible creative tributes to our doctors, nurses, pharmacists, paramedics, yentas, patients, and teammates!

Care Packages
This winter 160 girls across the country and the UK received a heaping dose of warmth and encouragement. We sent our girls stunning care packages filled with yummy ‘legal’ treats, pampering self-care products and an adorable poem. That’s not all! We customized every care package according to each girl's age and dietary restrictions. It can't get better than that!

Back To School Webinar
MyTEAM’s School Initiative launched its first ever back-to-school webinar for parents! We were privileged to hear from Mrs Sima Blum; a Type 1 Diabetes Mentor and Mrs Leah Steinberg; Director of Project LEARN at Agudath Israel of America. Parents from around the world joined us for a live panel and Q&A discussion on advocating for their child's needs and while also maintaining a positive relationship with their schools.

We were privileged to hear from Mrs. Kayla Levin, world-renowned newlywed coach and host of the “First Year Married” podcast, in two incredible workshops. In her workshops, Kayla taught us her groundbreaking model for self- awareness. Our teammates walked away empowered with a game changing toolkit for tackling any situation - not just medical challenges!

Camp MyTEAM
Camp MyTEAM 2.0!!! We started off with awesome Thank You Hashem for MyTEAM t-shirts and creating our own custom MyTEAM gear. We tried paint boarding, designed inspirational candy banners, made adorable tutus, and danced away to our favorite MyTEAM songs! No one wanted the magic to end. Bring on Camp MyTEAM 2021!!
